Ivette Nino, an accomplished Senior Project Engineer with 11 years of professional experience, including 5 years in Venezuela, specializes in road upgrades, drainage, and transport infrastructure.
Currently contributing expertise to Durack Civil in regional Australia, Ivette is known for managing diverse projects, such as the M1 Pacific Motorway Exit 45 Interchange upgrade, Brisbane International Cruise Terminal civil works, and the Gateway Upgrade North Project.
Lauren Karan I Talent Director I Karan & Co
Lauren has worked for over 12 years on civil infrastructure projects and for companies such as John Holland, McConnell Dowell, Fulton Hogan and Downer - where she really learnt about project mobilisation, project culture and the importance of having the right people, in the right roles and at the right time to build profitable projects. She founded Karan & Co as a consultancy specialising in construction and prioritizing lasting client relationships and thorough talent management.
Lauren is breaking stereotypes and contributing to the Australian economy through cross skilling in her own team women from construction backgrounds and internal hiring to grow into customer focused recruiters specialising in heavy industry engineering and technical recruitment.
Melissa Pollock I General Manager - Health & Safety I Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure
Mel has 20+ years' experience in safety, with an early career in human resources, working across various industries including local government, emergency services, FMCG, oil and gas, facilities management, construction and utilities.
Jessica Allen I Site Engineer I BMD
Jessica Allen is a Site Engineer with more than 5 years’ experience in civil construction. Working across a number of diverse fields, including project management, structural engineering and civil contracting, Jessica has experience delivering projects for industrial and mining facilities, bridge infrastructure, transport, land development, defence and services infrastructure.
Currently, at BMD Group, Jessica divides her time between subdivision packages and brownfield roadwork projects and such as Hillside, Capestone and Bellvista Boulevard, and has honed her expertise in self-performing earthworks, traffic management, pipework, and service installations.
