Join CCF QLD and Mills Oakley for the 2022 Professional Short Course Series. Presented by lawyers Harold Downes and Sam Dekker from Mills Oakley together with Lisa Nixon and Gina Calder from BBS Communications Group will deliver crisis management training. Having a 'crisis management plan' that your leaders understand is vital to ensure that the situation is effectively managed.
Topics to be covered include:
- what to do immediately following a serious incident (eg. fatality)
- responding to the media
- managing psychosocial risks (eg. PTSD and return to work)
NB. The facilitators of this course strongly recommend in-person attendance as this workshop is interactive and based on hypothetical incidents and various role plays.
Please note that numbers are capped for this event due to COVID social distancing requirements. Additionally, it is important to note that this course will start at 7:30am sharp, so please aim to arrive or log on 15 minutes early.

If you become unwell at an event, notify a CCF QLD or venue staff member immediately, who will show you to the allocated COVID isolation room and provide you with appropriate PPE.
