It was recently announced that News Corporation Australia will be unveiling plans for a new large-scale $2 billion urban regeneration project in Bowen Hills which will be known as Millennium Square.

News Corp Australia will partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Real Estate to revolutionise the existing company facilities and create a sought-after multimedia hub.

Stage one will include a 44,000 sqm commercial tower to house News Corp’s divisions such as The Courier Mail, The Sunday Mail and others, with work due to commence as soon as 2018.

The second stage will then see apartment buildings, a hotel, and an underground retail centre – with cafes, bars, a market and much more.

Expressions of interest will soon be open to developers looking to partner with News Corp Australia for the project.
